Abstracts
LASA are inviting abstract submissions for poster & brief presentation showcasing scientific innovation in animal research which will interest and excite your colleagues and inspire refined research.
We would also welcome posters under the theme “Husbandry, welfare and care refinements - little steps that make a big impact", with an option to provide this as a 3-minute poster talk on Monday 17th November.
A poster prize will be kindly sponsored by Envigo/Inotiv.

We strongly encourage the participation of young animal technologist and early career researchers including PGT students to present any preliminary, pilot and/or ongoing current work. This is a great opportunity to discuss your work with other colleagues in the field.
Please download the abstract submission form and submit via the link at the top of this page by 23:59 on Monday 15th September 2025.

Please log into your mySociety member account (if you are not a member then you can create a free account), then select ‘Book this event' at the top of the screen. The exact location of the conference will be sent to confirmed delegates.

If you would like to attend the meeting dinner, please tick the optional dinner box when registering and select the 'share my details' option. This allows the organisers to pass your name and email address to the venue, who will contact you directly with a bespoke menu to choose from. Delegates who do not share their details will be served a set menu.

Membership offer

Accommodation
Accommodation is not included in the registration fee and must be booked separately. There are a limited number of rooms available at the venue at a discounted price. If you are interested in venue accommodation, please contact us and quote your booking number, and we can provide details to confirmed delegates. Attendees are expected to directly book their accommodation with the venue or any other accommodation sites nearby.Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

- If you cancel at least 30 days prior to the date of the event you will receive a full refund.
- No refund will be made for non-attendance or cancellations within 30 days of the event.
