FELASA Severity Workshop

An accredited FELASA Severity Workshop offering delegates information and hands on training in severity classification. Since 2016, FELASA has offered workshops on severity classification in Europe to ensure that colleagues are well informed and trained to effectively classify severity both prospectively (for project license applications) and retrospectively for each animal at the end of procedures (actual severity). This is to ensure that severity assessment is aligned between establishments, and across the UK and Europe, in line with the EU legislation which is embedded in A(SP)A.

Thousands of delegates have already followed one or more ‘FELASA Severity Workshops' - the ultimate goal of this initiative is to promote the consistent use of the severity classification framework and optimal refinement of all procedures. The workshop will follow a standard FELASA format and is suitable for anyone wanting to improve or refresh their understanding of severity assessment including animal technicians, in vivo scientists, license holders, study directors, Named People and facility managers.

This workshop will run on Monday 16 November. If you would like to attend, please add the below options to your booking:
Ticket add-on for Full/Monday conference attendees £20
Ticket for FELASA workshop only £40
